About Narangba Bowls Club
Established in the late 1980s, Narangba Bowls Club is a thriving community hub located at 225 Mackie Rd, Narangba. With a 99-year lease on Department of Resources land, we are financially secure and boast a growing membership driven by recent population growth and our welcoming atmosphere. Our volunteer-run club is committed to fostering community engagement and promoting lawn bowls at all levels.
Our Vision
We aim to elevate our facilities to enhance the bowling experience and broaden our community impact. Our key objectives include:
- Upgrading our artificial greens and developing covered playing facilities to enable all-weather play and eliminate sun exposure.
- Attracting new and novice bowlers through social bowling programs and barefoot bowls events.
- Supporting junior development via membership drives and school partnerships, offering a healthy alternative to screen time.
- Advancing competitive bowling to higher levels, building on our recent surge in bowler quality.
- Strengthening community ties through social events and functions at our club.
